Oh well, like Gus, I decided to try my hand at upgrading to the "new" blogger. Much to my dismay, I seem to have lost all my links to other bloggers for this new page layout. If that is the case, it is a major bummer, but it will give me a chance to add and subtract blogs, so I guess I will grin and bear it. I like the new color scheme and welcome any comments on it.

The easiest way to get back all of your links would be to google something you blogged from some time back and hit "cached". If you're lucky, you will see a copy of your blog the way it used to look, allowing you to "view source" to retrieve the HTML for your link list.
This seemed to work with the following search on Google:
Democrats site:secularfoxhole.blogspot.com
You could then cut-and-paste the HTML into your template editor.

I once managed to lose my entire template during a minor template edit in Blogger and had to rebuild the CSS from the HTML of a copy of a monthly archive I'd saved on my PC as backup. Experience can be a good teacher
